Trash

Trash comes in 2 forms. There are your recyclable trash, and your non-recyclable trash. Since NSC will have strict requirements for packaging, all packages must be recyclable, this will mean most of the trash will be recyclable. The remaining 2% will be things such as food waste, pet feces, and the like. Since trash is in 2 forms, there will be 2 colored bags that would be used. These colors are going to be required for disposal of trash. Buying the trash bags will pay some of the cost to KPW for trash collection services.

The first will be black bio-degradable bags that would be about the size of single use plastic bags that you would find in grocery stores. These bags will be able to be used to load non-recyclable trash, and hopefully the trash will be bio-degradable. The person will simply walk the single use bag to a public trash can, and throw the trash away. This is designed to have some friction which will reduce the wasteful disposal of their trash. Non recyclable trash must be disposed of in these public trash cans.

Blue trash bags are recyclable. They will come in kitchen size bags which should be sufficient for most trash. Keep in mind that most people are not receiving packages all of the time. Shipping boxes will be recyclable, and therefore taken out with the blue bags. Recyclable trash will be picked up once a week. This will encourage people to properly recycle, and make a positive contribution to society.

Every 6 months, a garbage truck will come to collect bulk trash such as expired furniture. This will give the resident a means of getting rid of their broken furniture without doing any dumping. This will be covered in with your taxes. Once a year, there will be electronics pickup. This is to discourage the person from throwing their electronics in with regular trash. Electronics trash could mean computers, TVs, MP3 players, phones, and radios to name a few. Anything with electronic components will be able to be recycled during electronics collection. The electronics will go to an electronics recycling center, and therefore properly disposed of.
